| What guests who have stayed at Casa Margarita say...... This has been the best holiday we have ever had. Casa Margarita is like a private "boutique hotel" but also a home from home. Jacky and John should be very very proud of what they have accomplished. We very much hope to return - often. Stainsby Family, Notts. 1/11/2007 ****** Our first visit to Lanzarote was in January this year, we stayed in an apartment in Famara. It was basic - but we had come to surf - and the waves and sunny weather were more than recompense. We came back at Easter having contacted Jacky and John over the internet and were their first family of guests at Casa Margarita. I guess we were also their first returning guests! So why have we come back - and no doubt will return again - (other than the absolutely epic reliable waves that hit this islands shores with the regularity of clockwork)? Jacky and John have created a house with a very special character. Each of the rooms have their own space and vibe. All are unique to themselves but blend together so that the sum of the parts is coherent. Much care and empathy has been placed by Jacky and John into the restoration of this house and it both shows in the detail and evidences itself in the feel of the property. Davina, Jerry, Sophie, Holly and Caitlin Hopkinson - Grasby, Lincs 24.10.2007 ****** Just a quick note to let you know how much we have enjoyed staying at Casa Margarita. Everything was absolutely fantastic. You have such an impeccable taste and tenacity to bring such a major project to fruition! Carelton and Lana, Norwich. ****** Your cordiality and generosity left us feeling at home with some of our relatives. Alessandra Silvestri and Family, - Rome, Italy. ****** Casa Margarita is quite charming and beautifully renovated with great thought and attention to detail. The finishing touches truly make this a "boutique" casa. It is great for a family as everyone has their own space and quiet places. In conclusion we had a restful and very pleasant week - just the wind-down we all needed. Thanks Jacky, we'll be back. Jim, Jill, Kyle and Dan Heath, and Cassie Duncan - from Ashley, Shropshire.
****** A wonderful holiday, Casa Margarita has so many places where we could all be together but we were able to find some private spots for some peace and quiet when we felt the need. The perfect place for a family occasion. Thank you John and Jacky for your care and assistance in making our sons 40th birthday one to remember. John and Sandra - from Spalding, Lincolnshire ****** Casa Margarita is a beautifully restored dwelling, the photographs we saw prior to arriving do not do this amazing place justice. The freedom of space and a true feeling of tranquility would be difficult to find elsewhere. Jacky is a wonderful host and a fountain of knowledge about Lanzarote. Her personal touch only improves what is a great holiday experience. We will leave with many a fond memory. Congratulations Jacky and John for building such a wonderful place. Steven Robinson and Tara Ovington, - Aldershot, Hants. ****** We have absolutely loved staying in this beautiful villa - what a fantastic place. The pictures on the internet just don't do it the justice it deserves. Thank you Jacky and John we will be seeing you in the future. The Lyalls and the Lori's - Bristol, UK. ****** Have greatly enjoyed our stay at Casa Margarita. You have created a very special place with many lovely features and nice personal touches. A truly tranquil place. The attentive services of Jacky throughout our stay were very much appreciated. Sheila and Robert Friend, Newton Moor, Scotland. ****** Casa Margarita is an extremely special place. The villa is stunning, but its the attention to every single detail that makes it stand out (the Kennedy's welcome, the furniture, garden and pool, even Jacky's 'red book' of tips for the Island) - we had everything we could have wished for and it made for the ultimate 'boutique' hire. We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Lanzarote. Villa Margarita' s rural location means that you are far enough away from the busy resorts (but close enough to visit if you so wish), and can enjoy the tranquillity of the surrounding area (which has so much to offer). The local villages are so friendly (the shops, bars and restaurants are all so welcoming - we certainly ate well) and Famara beach (voted one of the top five beaches in the Canaries by the Lonely Planet) needs no further introduction. We'll certainly be going back. Many thanks indeed for a memorable holiday. Ed, Alex and Ben Horner - June 2008
****** You've read a million testimonials claiming a "home from home" experience. Well Casa Margarita quite genuinely is. The wonderfully restored buildings give this villa a charm like no other we've stayed in. There's just so much space - indoors and outdoors. The quality of the accommodation is first class and the attention to detail throughout is a credit to John and Jacky (I suspect Jacky actually). We stayed in Casa Margarita with a couple of friends and the villa lends itself fantastically well to give plenty of privacy when required, but so many places to get together. In fact it could easily accommodate three couples and produce the same result. Soo is a wonderfully quiet and typically Canarian village and Casa Margarita provides a very high standard of villa to make the most of this great location. Duncan Sands - July 2008
